ENOUGH OF BEING A FORGETFUL INGRATE BY OLOWOMEYE BOLUWAJI F.
Many at times, we tends to forget the goodness of God upon our lives. We focus more on the things He has not done and forget the ones He is doing, and the ones He will still do. Many lives has been denied and robbed of their blessings because they grumbled on situations they suppose to be grateful to God for.
Have you been grateful to God concerning those things you see as normal but they are full of mysteries and wonder working Power of Yeshua?
Last night before going to bed, I was checking the Prospects I wrote in my diary this time last year, where I want to be by December'22, my successes and achievements, etc. I discovered that not all of this has been done and achieved, and there is this thought that came to my mind that "DO YOU THINK GOD IS FAITHFUL TO YOU? For a while I couldn't fathom what I was thinking, but immediately I got to understand that though I might not have achieved all that is written in my prospects, but God has been so faithful no matter what. We might not have been there yet, but we are better than WHO and WHAT we are yesterday.
Your ways are not God's ways, your plans are not God's plans for your life. That you are not there now doesn't make you a failure or God has changed from being God. So many times God changes our plans to bring out the best in us. Don't let your present situation makes you a forgetful Ingrate.
Whenever I see a pregnant woman, I use to wonder how God perfects His work. Imagine a pregnant woman drinking hot water/tea, eat hot food, and miraculously it won’t affect the Foetus. This is just to bring to your remembrance that God has been so faithful to you since your conception. So tell me why you will choose to be a forgetful ingrate.
Instead of murmuring against God, why not raise your praise to Him, don’t let your challenges stop you from praising God. One of the Secret of being grateful to God is to praise Him, the more you acknowledge His love and faithfulness, the more you are being blessed.
It is never too late for you to be THOUGHFUL & GRATEFUL, yes you, I mean you. God is forever faithful to fail you, prayerfully and patiently wait for your appointed time, because in due season, every seemingly impossible situations will become possible.
