As mortals, it’s easy to get caught up in our own self-centeredness, neglecting the fact that our daily choices and actions have a profound impact on our relationship with God. Even as believers, many of us live as if our lives belong to us alone, forgetting that God is constantly saying, "Your life matters to Me."
Have you ever found yourself committing sins because they seem like a normal part of your daily routine? Do you derive joy from them, even when God is warning you that He cannot tolerate iniquity? Perhaps you've convinced yourself that God knows you're not perfect, so you'll just do what you want today and ask for forgiveness tomorrow. But God is saying, "What you don't think matters, matters to Me."
Some of us think we're wiser than our Creator, trying to outsmart God by doing things our own way. We're too knowledgeable to be teachable, and we forget that God is the one who knows us best. But God is looking for worshippers who will constantly commune and fellowship with Him, not just those who come to Him when they need something.
God values His fellowship with you, and it truly matters to Him. I recall a phrase my boss used to say during my fashion training a few years ago: "Whatever you draw is what you cut, and what you cut is what you sew." If you overlook a mistake while sewing, it may seem insignificant at first, but it can become a major issue in the long run. The same principle applies to life: every step you take, every decision you make, matters to God.
Don't wait until you learn the hard way that your actions have consequences. God is calling your attention to this today because He doesn't want you to die of ignorance. Your life is precious to Him, and He wants to straighten out every crooked path in your life. He cherishes you and wants to have a deep, personal relationship with you.

Indeed, our choices shape who we become. We start by making decisions, but ultimately, those decisions define us.
ReplyDeleteListen to His warnings and seek forgiveness now, before it's too late.
